At CrossFit Leyland we pride ourselves on designing universally scalable workouts which can be completed by ALL members. The scaling of load and intensity enables us to have a broad range of individuals completing the same workout alongside each other, we don’t change programmes we scale them.

We believe in delivering a service which emphasises the importance of quality movements and ALL individuals will receive the necessary coaching of the fundamental movements prior to commencing CrossFit classes. This ensures safety and efficiency of movements whilst also improving results.

CrossFit Leyland Owner / Coach

My life has revolved around sport from an early age, with tennis initially being my main hobby. I became totally obsessed with fitness during my late teens and for many years I hit the gym every day completing the same routine day in day out. Not because I enjoyed it, but because I wanted to look a certain way. Looking back, I had a completely unhealthy perception of health, fitness & body image and it wasn’t until I found CrossFit that I realised this!!

What I love about CrossFit is that nobody is bothered what you look like, they are more interested in mastering certain movements and skills, setting new personal records and moving faster. I have a much healthier attitude towards life now. I LOVE training and I have made amazing friends through the CrossFit community. I now enjoy competing regularly against the best CrossFitters in Europe.

I started CrossFit in 2011 whilst training a CrossFit Tyneside and I have never looked back, I have since competed in the CrossFit European Regionals in 2013 & 2014 finishing 21st &25th, respectively and the CrossFit Medidian Regionals (Europe & Africa) in 2015 finishing 31st. Whilst continuing to train hard to I aim to help every single member at CrossFit Leyland achieve their goals, whatever they may be!
