    I started CrossFit in 2011 and I have never looked back. I have had great experiences, competing at national and international CrossFit competitions and the CrossFit Regionals. We created CrossFit Leyland in 2012 with a focus on creating a community CrossFit gym with the aim to help every single member at CrossFit Leyland achieve their goals, whatever they may be!

    Having a baby last year, it is important for me to show how fitness can still be a part of family life. The benefits that it bring both physically and mentally are outstanding and it is a fantastic way to become a role model for my son.

    I started CrossFit 11 years ago. I was doing general fitness events, open water swimming and triathlons and wanted to try something new to add to my training. I liked the idea of a mixture of training styles from olympic lifting to gymnastics and had read a lot about CrossFit methodology.

    Now I am getting older, 11 years in, I train for longevity and making sure I am the fittest I can be.

    Favourite lift - Bench press

    Favourite thing about CrossFit - That no workout is the same and to see people develop and grasp things and being able to be part of that journey with them.

    I started CrossFit 5 years ago when I was working in a commercial gym. I wanted to do something very different to the training I was used to and I became addicted to the variety, the challenge and learning something week by week.

    For me, CrossFit is a healthy relationship with exercise, body, nutrition and mental health and to be able to relate to members is one of the best parts of coaching.
